Thank you for your feedback. The styler has ceramic attachments for the smoothest use. In this instance we would advise that you can only use styling products (e.g. heat protection spray, curl activator spray...) that have been specially created for this purpose. Only use a styling product if the package clearly says that it can be used with a straightener or curler. If you use other styling products you may find it leaves a sticky residue on the device meaning results may differ. Always clean the appliance and plates after they have cooled down to avoid damage to the appliance and for the best possible results. We hope this helps you achieve the style you want.
