Kettle's stainless steel surface and being cordless prevents us to get our hands burn while picking up the kettle and Led light gives a soothing effect when turned on. It's fast heating feature is excellent but cherry on top is it automatically turns off if there is less or no water in the kettle.

I am an avid tea drinker and I have been using this kettle for more than 2 weeks now. The striking feature is the metal body with blue LED lightning which serves 2 purpose; making the insides visible as well as giving the whole kettle a beautiful look. It is performing very admirably with it took around 5 minutes to boil the water filled almost to the top of the kettle. One concern is the plastic heating switch that has a risk of being damaged or broken off that might render this kettle useless.

I am old user of Philips Electric Kettle Viva Collection, 1.7 Liters, black - HD4677/40, Plastic for more than 8 years and still work .... I liked the material for the new kettle I tested now for more than two weeks I used it, most new features found the protection when I detached from the base it switched off , also the blue light and the high quality finish touch and handle.... Finally the speed of boiling for any amount of water starting from one cup up to the maximum capacity, thank you philips for this test and always in the top

The design is very modern, chic with its blue led light. It's very fast. Doesn't affect water taste. It's whole from stainless steel with its base also

When I decided to buy anew kettle always focus on its speed , how long it will be life ,if its body can resist the rust, and its design,, Really I found all of this in this a new kettle from Philips, it's very speed , has amazing design specially this blue light when you using ❤️ Made of stainless steel, which is protected from rust, which has a long life and easy to clean Really it's a great product and I'm sure as usual Philips it has along life battery.. Loved how fast the water heated up, at just 1 min per cup of water! I also liked the blue led light looks really nice. The only downfall I've found is how hot the kettle gets on the outside. As I do have kids in the house I would have liked if the body of the kettle was like the lid. Overall great product.

I have been using Viva Collection Kettle since a week .I am really impressed with the quality and function of kettle. Very innovative,easy to use,and I always find my tea being made in no time. It's size is so big ,best for my family.

I am addicted to drinking tea and coffee more than 8 cups per day and this was the best product for me and it doing the job very well. The kettle looks like a part of kitchen or room decor it looks very elegant specially with blue color led light. The kettle is boiling water very fast which You don't need to wait too long to take your cup of tea or coffee thanks to flat heating design and 2200 watt heater Double-sided transparent water level indicator shows the minimum and maximum level of water and also it use cups scale so you can put only water based on how many cups you need and save electrical energy. The kettle shuts off automatically when there is too little water inside which is very critical feature to prevent any fire can happen or stainless steel overheating.
