I bought this clipper as a replacement for my previous Philips clipper as the combe attachment for it had broken. Since receiving the new clippers I have used them on 2 occasions and I have been generally happy with it. It will take me some time to get used to holding it as it is bigger than my previous one. I especially like the motorised cutting height selection function as it makes it very easy to choose the cutting grade you want and it doesn't change whilst using the clippers. Also, I like how long the battery charge has lasted as since the initial charge I have used it for a total of about 50 minutes and I have not had to charge it yet and they were on standby for over a week between the two times I used the clippers. So overall I am very happy with this purchase.

No need to visit the barbers anymore. Wish I'd started cutting my hair years ago, would have saved a fortune. I like my hair low (length is set to 1mm), so cutting is very straightforward. Takes about 30mins but that's because I'm a perfectionist. Like my Philips sonicare toothbrush I'm impressed with the build quality of the machine. The motorised combs are a good idea so kudos to whoever invented this feature. I just wish they were made with a thicker more robust plastic. Can imagine the legs snapping with little effort. My biggest gripe is the noise. This is a very noisy machine giving off a very mechanical & heavily obnoxious buzz, not the traditional soothing hum you get from old school corded clippers. But for the price and the warranty and the fact that it does what I ask of it I can tolerate these flaws.
