I received my Philips hairdryer about 10 days ago. This is an aesthetically pleasing product with a luxurious navy hue elegant enough to accessorise your dressing table/vanity. The hairdryer has a comfortable grip and is easy to use. Apart from a little struggle with attaching and removing the nozzle and diffuser, I found it a simple product to use with simple settings too. A few months ago, I had my hair treated with Keratin which made my hair very straight and flat in appearance. Let me start this review by focusing firsf on the "Thermoshield Technology" that is a key feature. I can most definitely say that the heat protection is immediately apparent. This hairdryer even on a higher setting blows air that is very comfortable temperature wise. The temperature setting feels much cooler than other hairdryers and feels very comfortable on my hair, nape and skin. Ordinarily hairdryers would reach a burning hot level which this hairdryers "Thermoshield Technology" definitely protects against. I'm thrilled that my hair got dry and was styled in an even shorter time with this cooler technology than my previous hairdryers. This reduction in heat accompanied with great speed totally dispels the theory that higher heat produces better blow-dry results. Apart from this technology, the hairdryer definitely provided a smoother, glossier result leaving my hair shiny and healthy looking. My usually flat hair is now volumised and looks thick and luscious. My husband and kids noticed this after my very first blow-dry. The fine nozzle glides along my hair beautifully and provides precision where you need it most. I have tried the diffiser too but as my hair is Keratin treated, there arent many curls to enhance. The diffuser did give a bouncy effect that was what I expected. The fine nozzle works best for me. Overall, this is a product that's not only lightweight and easy to use but is actually a pleasure to use too for salon perfect hair in the comfort of your home. I would highly recommend it for anyone living in a hotter climate to avail the benefits of the Thermoshield technology. This was the highlight for me using it in the UAE.

It’s very easy and great quality. Thought it’s hot air only but it’s cold too which is perfect for my curls. So it’s a dryer and curl enhancer. Perfect!
